Modern Alphabet

I love this alphabet poster of modern design classics from Blue Ant Studio. It would have been helpful for studying for the exams in Design 200! Or a great way to make your friends or children into design fiends the second they set their eyes on it. Eames chairs, anyone?

Country Kitchen

I have been very into the idea of built-ins lately. Mudrooms, Hallway benches, bookcases, corner cabinets, linen closets, breakfast nooks...anything that gives a home character. I found this kitchen redesign, with the most charming breakfast nook on a post from Southern Living. I would love to call this place home.

Palm Springs

Jenny of Little Green Notebook recently posted about the jewelry of Stella & Dot and had a giveaway that we all unfortunately missed! I immediately fell in love with a few pieces from their Palm Springs collection. These are some images of my favorites!  Hopefully they will help me pretend that I'm on vacation in California and not stuck in the dreary cold and rain of Ohio...Woe is me.

Kate Spade Does It AGAIN!

I am just absolutely smitten with her Spring looks. They are simply amazing. They truly tell a story with their well-chosen props and, as always, the styling is impeccable. Everyone go check out the rest of the looks at her website immediately!

Why is it that every time a new season comes, Kate Spade produces clothing that I could only dream of in my wildest imagination? I need to buy all of these. Stat.

On the Road

Please Sir, one of my new favorite vintage-loving blogs, recently posted about these fabulous retro campers. I read all about it initially on Ruffled (The most lovely blog for vintage weddings) and the trailers are so bright and fun that I couldn't resist snatching the photos to show you all! Not only are they a blast from the past on the outside, but they are completely adorable on the inside as well! If you are living in the UK, you can rent these for photoshoots or special occasions from Snail Trail. If there is a resource like this in the US that anyone knows about, please let me know!

Moroccan Wedding

Ever since I attended a wedding last August with this color palette, I've been absolutely in love with it. The combination is so interesting, and anything but overdone. This wedding, featured on Ruffled, takes it to the next level by using a Moroccan thing and the photos by Jamie Hammond are absolutely stunning. If you are in the Seattle area, she would definitely be the photographer to hire to shoot your wedding.

Block O Patio

I think they did a great job picking out furniture for the Patio at the New Ohio Union. I can't wait to sit out there and sketch when I'm stumped at work. This summer is going to be amazing. What do you guys think??

Let Them Eat Cake

Apparently, Marie Antoinette is back in a big way. A little fluffy, frilly, pink display of opulence is all the rage across the blogosphere this morning. 100 Layer Cake featured these photos for a Marie Antoinette-esque wedding, styled by Jillian Event Design with florals by Blossom & Branch, and featuring the calligraphy of Love, Jenna.

Then, later on this morning on P is for Party, I read about a Marie Antoinette themed soiree designed by Kate Landers of Boston, Mass. These are both just so delectable and over-the-top. I adore them! Unfortunately, I am much more the proletariat these days than the bourgeoise...

It's Official

After much contemplation, and few months of quasi-practice paired with a lot of reading up on nutrition, I have decided to take the plunge and go Vegetarian. I am very excited about this change in my life, and have already noticed myself feeling better and better as I slowly eliminated meat from my diet. Now I am going to go all the way and cut it out entirely. I am definitely a beginner in this endeavor, so if anyone has any advice, I would love to hear it!

I Just Died

Literally, these prints knocked the wind out of me...have you ever seen anything more fabulous? Retro lovers like will be delighted to check out the limited edition prints of Floyd & Mavis. I clearly can't buy these, but it's just nice to know that lots of other people in this world will be able to buy these and hang them in their homes and stare at them all day. Jealousy does not become me...

The Italy one is my favorite...nothing to do with my Italian roots, and everything to do with her striped dress and scarf!

Editors Note: I bought them anyway...they amounted to 39.00 with shipping! Not too shabby! Cant wait till they arrive and I have them framed!

Button-Themed Shower

How adorable is this button-themed Bridal Shower? It was featured on The Wedding Chicks and features the fabulous photography of Jessica Claire. I especially love the mini cakes with fondant buttons and flowers, and these colors are perfect for Spring.

Check the blog and Jessica out immediately, because they are both so inspiring. They've even gotten me out of my blogging doldrums!

A Gregory Peck Observation

My friend Cate and I are both obsessed with old movies. This morning were discussing which old movie stars we would have had crushes on if we lived back then (and still have crushes on even though we live now...) and Gregory Peck, of course, came up. We both love him, but I observed that younger Pierce Brosnan looks like him! This image may shock you, or make you association the wonderous Gregory Peck with the incredibly cheesy Pierce Brosnan forever...What do you think?

Spring is coming!

Last year, Jordan of Oh Happy Day posted these photos of the Dutch tulip fields. Aren't they incredible? Those colors are fantastic! At this point in the Winter season, I really need reminding that we are in the home stretch, and Spring is going to be here very, very soon!

My Secret is Discovered!

Seth, who sits across from me in my studio, posted THIS on his blog this morning...Apparently I gabbed enough about my love of Diet Dr. Pepper that everyone knows the secret to my pep, and that extra bounce in my step.

Neon Sign Boneyard

I recently found, and became obsessed with looking at the flickr account of arZan, who has one hundred pictures of the Neon Sign Boneyard in Las Vegas, where all the beautiful old signs went into retirement. I am personally hoping Las Vegas will figure out that transporting itself back to the "glory days of old" will make it more charming and less...smutty? I hate that word, but it seems appropriate. Anyway, enjoy these beautiful, slightly sad photos!
