The weather here is awful. And I mean completely terrible.
So Cameron suggest I come up with a "rainy day" outfit for the JSQ Lookbook to prep for this late-October seasonal shift. So while I was pulling options from far and wide across the interweb, I realized by pairing dark denim, herringbone print Hunter boots and a few chunky knits (all pretty classic pieces), the look I was assembling was totally Preppy. Top it off with this red wool trench for a pop of color to pull you out of your doldrums, and you're ready to take on mother nature in comfort and style. Enjoy!

At the Office/On the Town
Okay, friends, I am back with another one of my fabulous fall jacket picks in my second At the Office/On the Town post in the JSQ Lookbook! This time I am featuring the Sweeping Swing cape/coat from Anthropologie. Though I think this would actually look best with a more casual outfit, I wanted to stretch its uses out and apply it to both an office look as well as a look for a fancy schmancy evening out! For the office, I've paired it with an autumnal color palette. Army greens plus wine tones and browns makes it fun for fall, but still chic and professional. I love the idea of the crocodile patterned belt around the subtle leopard dress...it's a way to bring a little pizazz to your office attire. Then for the evening out, I've paired our cape with a stunning vintage-inspired sheath, some green tights, and charming flats...bringing this 60's style look out for the evening! Stay tuned for next weeks segments of At the Office/On the Town! Have a great weekend, guys!

At the Office/On the Town
As promised, I am going to style all of my favorite jacket picks for autumn this week. But while I was brainstorming/scouring the web, I decided to spice things up and do a little bit of double-duty. Every coat I picked can be great for work or for play, so I decided to come up with two outfits for each! At work, I like to keep it classic and chic so I've opted to stick with a black & tan palette and use texture and detail to make the outfit really special. In the evening, I've added a little bit of fun sparkle and embellishment in the form on this great topshop top in order to take you out in style! Stay tuned for more great coats in my new segment, At the Office/On the Town here at Jenna Sais Quois!

J'Adore Jackets
I am absolutely in love with Fall. I love hats, scarves, sweaters, gloves, and especially jackets. It's kind of my only real guilty pleasure, and I am not exaggerating when I say I own one in every color or material under the sun. In fact, I added a couple more to my already overstuffed coat closet this weekend...a black trench with a huge, grey faux fur collar and another black cape with military lines, gold buttons, and a cinched waist. Excited to wear them! But here are a few other coats I've been drooling over both in stores and online...I have decided in order to bring my JSQ Lookbook back with a vengeance, over the next couple weeks, I'm going to create a look based around each of these coats. So get ready. Hope you're as excited as I am!

JSQ Lookbook: Lovely Lighthouse
I just fell in love with this skirt from Anthropologie. The print is a vintage nod to sailboats and lighthouses, and the sailor buttons at the waist had me at hello. I wasn't sure how I'd style this look at first, but I found a demure top with a peter pan collar and some matching flats that would be perfect. I believe if you're going for a retro look, go all the way and add some cat-eye sunglasses. What do you think?

JSQ Lookbook: American Dream
It's been so long since I've come up with a lovely Lookbook post that I couldn't resist making one for the 4th of July. This look is definitely for an Independence Day glamor gal on her way to a pool party or the beach. The vintage-inspired bathing suit and adorable flowered bathing cap are my favorites. After you swim, throw on this light breezy white frock, and belt it for a polished and effortlessly chic ensemble. An Eva Sais Quois gift guide will be coming shortly, and of course a delicious drink for America's birthday is coming on Monday!

JSQ Lookbook: Au Naturale
Today's Lookbook post was inspired by these amazing Anthropologie sandals. They seriously had me at "hello" and I wanted to base a look around them using naturals, tans, straw, and other summery elements. Also, I am going to be blogging up a storm today to make up for my shoddy posting record this week! I have been super busy working on the summer edition of Edible Columbus magazine, which will be going to print next week. Anyway, enjoy this look and I will have a fabulous Gift Guide post from Eva coming in a few!

JSQ Lookbook: Pretty Pastels
What better to counter a terribly cold, and rainy day than with some fresh, light pastels! This Anthropologie shift is so light and crisp, and I am in love with the color palette. The white dress with the pastel stripes works beautifully with bone accessories, plus I've been dying to include that necklace from Kate Spade in a post. So enjoy!

JSQ Lookbook: Pretty as a Picnic
The weather has been absolutely beautiful. Cold and rainy April is over, and now it's the perfect time to pack a basket full of delicious pasta salad, some brie and french bread, or maybe something as simple as chocolate chip cookies...and of course a bottle of wine, and head for the park! Here is a perfectly prim picnic outfit. All you need next is a full basket, a soft blanket, and someone sweet to spend your afternoon with!

JSQ Lookbook: Derby Day 2
So, I'm shedding the bathrobe and fuzzy slippers from yesterdays Sick Day, and bringing you back to Churchill Downs with my second Derby Day look. This is a sweet but sadly out-of-stock Anthropologie dress styled in a polished, upper-crust way. By pairing the look with some feminine flats and a straw cloche, the look is slightly more casual. But then by adding the classic double-strand of pearls, it bumps this look back up to Country Club chic. Again, don't forget your Mint Julep!

JSQ Lookbook: British Summer Chic
With Summer around the corner, what better than a cool, loose-fitting dress and airy accessories? And with the Royal Wedding this week, I thought I'd add a few Topshop accessories to express a little Anglophilia! This ensemble uses many of my favorite Summertime elements; straw, wood, cork, gold tones...just things to keep it light, bright, and natural. I know July is months away, and I am enjoying Spring, but I am definitely looking forward to this look...

JSQ Lookbook: Fun Florals
I saw this dress in the Juniors section at Target on Saturday, and had to have it. My first instinct was to go retro with the styling, but instead I wanted to change it up and pair it with some soft, contemporary details like this romantic cardigan and some oxfords. I can't wait to wear it...maybe tomorrow?

JSQ Lookbook: Casual Jackie
Since Jacqueline Kennedy spent a great deal of time at her Hyanis Port home, both sailing, and beach combing with her kids, I wanted to put together a casual JSQ Lookbook post as well. I think this outfit is a modern spin an a classic, summery 60s look. Pairing a crisp white collared blouse with dark, skinny denim and a chic scarf is the perfect combination for effortless hot-weather glamor. Enjoy!

JSQ Lookbook: Jacqueline Kennedy
I have been waiting for The Kennedys miniseries, starring Greg Kinnear and Katie Holmes as JFK and Jackie, to air for months now. Tonight is the night of the premier! So in honor of this Kennedy filled week, I will be posting a few JSQ Lookbook posts honoring the fashion plate Jacqueline Kennedy. You should definitely check out the 8-part miniseries if you like history, period films, or good old-fashioned drama.

JSQ Lookbook: Edgy Feminine
For today's JSQ Lookbook post, I have combined soft, girly materials with hard, structured ones. Pairing feminine with masculine is a technique that always ends up looking really cool and interesting. Here are some items I'd pair together to achieve this look:
1 Shady Lane Dress from Madwell
2 Original Wayfarer Sunglass by Ray Ban
3 Motorcycle Jacket by Alexander Wang
4 Linen Clutch with Black Trim from The Limited

JSQ Lookbook: Spring Sundress
Wow, it's been a really crazy couple of days at work, and I'm glad to be back to blogging! I have put together a JSQ Lookbook post with this beautiful peachy dress from J. Crew. 2 Colstrip Necklace in "Peach"
3 Stitched & Studded Belt from Anthropologie
4 Dorosili Market Handbag from Aldo

JSQ Lookbook: June Wedding
I am having way too much fun putting these together! Bear with me, because there will probably be a bazillion of them. I always have different outfits constantly assembling themselves in my brain like I'm solving the rubik's cube...It feels awesome to get them out there into cyberspace. Today's JSQ Lookbook post is for a dress I bought on Saturday from Target for only $30.00. Amazing, right? I think it's perfect to wear to a Summer wedding because you want to look chic, but for me black is a no for afternoon. And while I don't wear lipstick every day, to a wedding, it's a must. This pink with a hint of coral looks perfect with the color of the dress.

JSQ Lookbook
I feel like I am really going to enjoy these JSQ Lookbook posts. Ever since I made one this afternoon, I have been thinking about what to do next. I decided to put together a look for this Madewell dress that Cate bought on Saturday...this dress is just so beautiful, versatile, and classic. I decided to put together this look for a summery afternoon picnic or some delightful walk tither and thither. Also, I am a sucker for a bangle pushed up on the forearm. What do you think?
