Hipster Babies: Spring 2012

It's that time again, folks! The seasons are changing, the air is warming, the birds are chirping...and that means it's time to check in with some of the most fashion-forward eight-year-olds you ever did see! This also happens to be known as the Zara Kids lookbook. Check it out. Get some inspiration for your own springtime looks. And while you're at it, try not to feel as bad as I do that these children are better dressed than we will ever be, and they don't even have their molars yet...

You guys know I am obsessed with the Zara's kids lookbook each month. I get so excited when I see new looks. Not only are the kids adorable (how cute is this little girl with her watch?) but the models are styled impeccably like the trendiest of trendy adults. Hipster Babies: Zara Strikes Again

I am continually obsessed with looking at the ZARA lookbook. I've blogged about her before here, back in September. She designs and styles the most adorable outfits for kids that turn them in to teeny little pocket-sized hipsters. These are some of my favorite looks from the month of February. What do you think? Prepster Babies

You may recall my fascination with hipster babies from this post, or this one...but today, I bring you the hipster baby with a touch of prep-school bravado: the Prepster baby. This collection by NANOS speaks to my soul when it comes to childrens' fashion. It really needs to be said that my biggest pet-peeve is dressing your child all in pink or blue. I rejoice when I see pint-sized clothing that gives your child a sense of personality and an extra bounce in their step. See for yourself!

It is deliciously retro, which if you've been paying attention to this blog, seems to be why I like most, if not all, things...

For Kids: A Closer Look

So, I remember promising more of my thesis to those friends and family who wanted to see how I spent a non-exaggerated 15-20 hours/day Spring Quarter prior to my graduation. Well, today you are in luck, folks. I wanted to share with you some of the pages of my book, as I prep them to zip off to the Index Awards in Copenhagen! (More on THAT later)

How amazing is this nursery featured on Ohdeedoh? It belongs to the daughter of an Urban Outfitters Designer, so of course it should be cool...but this child doesn't even know that they are already living in a cooler space than most adults. Lucky lady.
