L'Amour List: Rose

It's time again for another L'Amour List. This time I am thrilled to be featuring an Ohio State student, fantastic marketing intern, and all around lovely lady named Rose. I'm very excited, as is Rose, to show you a few of her favorite things. I hope you enjoy them!



1  Harney & Sons English Breakfast Tea is her absolute favorite!
2  Rose love photorealistic paintings. Especially this one by Ralph Goings. It's also a dream of hers to be a "regular" somewhere, at a diner or breakfast place or something, which is why she loves this particular painting so much.
3  She loves art inspired outfits like this one on Polyvore. She loves black, white, and the gorgeous champagne color...not to mention this very poster is hanging in her room right now!

4  This dress from Modcloth is on Rose's wishlist! Red is her favorite color, and sheath dresses are her favorite silhouette for sure.

5  Pugs! They are her favorite dogs.

6  Dystopian Novels are Rose's favorite genre... She's not quite sure why, but she's read 1984 and Brave New World several times each!
7  Her go-to scent, especially in the winter months! It has a deep, rich, spicy scent that's perfect for holiday parties or spicing up an otherwise dreary winter day. Unfortunately she just ran out, so a new bottle is on her Christmas wish list!
8  Another great dress from Modcloth in Rose's second favorite color...(and MY favorite, obviously.) She loves how this color dresses up an otherwise conservative cut. She would pair it with a cropped jacket and red heels. Super cute!
9  Rose has been eyeing these vintage-looking earrings, also from Modcloth.
10  Last, but certainly not least, the Chipotle burrito! Her favorite food of all time...everyone at work knows this. She can't NOT mention Chipotle.

L'Amour List: Eric

Hey lovelies! It's time for another L'Amour List! This week's featured lister is Eric, creative director of The Ohio Union, here in Columbus, my boss, and also the Capitol City's resident (real) ginger. Mine is fake, I'm sad to say... So without further ado, enjoy Eric's pop-culture explosion L'Amour List!

1  Eric is a very 3-dimensional thinker, and the possibilities with packaging design are virtually endless!
2  Andrew Yang's Kouklitas Couture fashion rag dolls are a huge inspiration for his interest in art toy design. The detail is exquisite!
3  Disney! It sparked Eric's ambition to become an illustrator and designer from a very young age.
4  Eric loves himself some Spice Girls music. Has since junior high.
5  Tom Ford...a true inspiration.
6  He's obsessed with all-things British.
7  Mashed Potatoes are his favorite comfort food.
8  Vintage wallpaper inspires him to create wonderful patterns and explore color within his own work.
9  Jem and the Holograms, He-Man, Ringer Tees, Cassette Tapes...What's not to love about the 80s?
10  Halloween is never complete without these delicious treats; Franken Berry, Count Chocula, and Boo Berry cereals!

L'Amour List: Ryan Dean

The L'Amour List is back, folks! It's been quite a while and I've even received a few requests for its triumphant return, so...your voices have been heard. I am happy to introduce you a lifelong friend of mine; the incredibly talented Ryan Dean Albers! And I'm resurrecting the L'Amour List to show you some of his current favorites. He seriously has the best taste of any man I know...and I also should announce to all of you that I am going to be out for the beginning half of next week because I am going back to New York City, to visit this guy. I have been bitten by the Manhattan bug since my last trip, and I'm not really sure if it's going to go away. I might just have to move there... Anyway, enjoy the list!

1  Must have these 3 products for the perfect Summer coiffe! All Bumble & Bumble products are amazing, and they smell great! Thickening Spray, Sumotech, and Does It All. 

2  Last fall he invested in a well-made briefcase messenger bag and he loves it! It's a stylish way to carry his life around with him all day. This one is from Coach for Men.
3  He is really enjoying this Pad and Quill case for the iPad 2. The design makes your iPad look like an actual book, and he loves the silk bookmark detail. He opted for blue lining with a storage pocket.
4  Even though he has an e-reader, there's nothing like a great bookstore. The Strand is the best place to find rare and unique editions of books.
5  He's in love with the natural watches from Mistura. He wears the Eclissi Dark.
6  He's been kind of obsessed with the Wizard of Oz since he was little, and is now the proud owner of all of these cool LA Artwork prints.
7  This is the book that started it all! Ryan is currently playing the father, Mr. Pinkerton, in Pinkalicious the musical, which I got to see when we were in New York last month. So cute!
8  He bought this style by Toms before vacation, and basically never took them off. Super comfy, socially responsible, and pretty much every person walking around the city has a pair...
9  He's a huge fan of Lypsyl lip moisturizer. It's very hard to find in the city, for some reason, but it keeps the lips soft and minty.

L'Amour List: Laura

Today's L'Amour List features a lovely lady I've known for quite a while now, both personally and professionally, Laura Sanders. She wears many hats, but two of her main ones are ultura-talented graphic designer/illustrator and hilarious stand-up comedienne! She is currently living in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and freelancing. 1  Big, chunky necklaces. This, as many are, was a gift from her mom.

It's Wednesday, and I have an extra special L'Amour List for you today! I am proud to feature a wonderful guy, dear friend, and talented stage actor...Sean R. Jones. He also recently started a photo-a-day blog you should definitely check out! I have really enjoyed catching a glimpse into Sean's mind through his list, and I hope you will too.

L'Amour List: Kelley

Better late than never! Here is today's L'Amour List, featuring the lovely, intelligent, and very continental Kelley, of the blog Ma Belle Vie. She is a lovely Expatriate from Cleveland, Ohio, living in Luxembourg. Here are some of her favorite things, all the way from Europe!

L'Amour List: Jeff

It's Wednesday, and I have an extra special L'Amour List for you today! I am excited to change it up a little, and feature a fantastic menswear blogger, Jeff of Kansas City, Missouri and co-author of The Midwestyle blog! 6  Filson Tote, without zipper. This is Jeff's everyday bag. It's also a great bag for the man who isn't ready to take the plunge into owning a bag other than his Northface backpack he used in college.

7  Patagoina Synchilla Pullover. Looks great with a t-shirt, over an oxford or wadded up as a pillow for desperate measures.

8  Pilot G-2 0.38 pen. The best pen you will ever own. It's like writing with a needle.

9  His Rifle Tie Bar. A great find at an antique mall in the middle of nowhere, Missouri that always gets a double take.

10  Manhood For Amateurs. One of his favorite pieces of work that reflects on the trials and humor in becoming a man, being a son and having a father.
